Latest Finds: September Treasures

Hey Rat Pack,

You know that feeling when you’re digging through racks, half-convinced you’re about to go home empty-handed, and then suddenly—boom—you strike gold? That’s me this week. I’ve been buzzing since I picked up these new pieces, and honestly, I don’t even know which one to gush about first. They’re the kind of finds that make you laugh, grin, and mutter, “This is too good.” And now I get to share them with you.

Michele Boyard Wool Coat – Beige Beauty

First up: a Michele Boyard wool coat in beige. Beige might not sound thrilling, but this coat? It’s like someone bottled up late 70s sophistication and pressed it into fabric. That slightly oversized, “I’m powerful but approachable” look. You can almost picture someone striding through an airport in 1978, aviator shades on, a leather carry-on in hand. It’s one of those coats that says, “Yeah, I’ve got places to be.”

1987 Novo Sweater – Small but Mighty

Next, a Novo sweater from 1987. If sweaters could talk, this one would definitely be quoting Bon Jovi. It’s small, sure, but it’s got that punchy late-80s vibe: patterns that make you want to crank up a mixtape and pretend you’re in a John Hughes movie. 1987 was the year “The Princess Bride” came out, which feels fitting—because this sweater is straight-up inconceivable. The colors, the fit, the vibe—it’s a piece that turns an ordinary outfit into a time machine.

Vintage Hunting Horn Jacket – Size 14/16

Now here’s a curveball: a Hunting Horn jacket. If Sherlock Holmes quit detective work and joined a rock band, this is what he’d wear. It’s got this commanding structure—tailored but not too stiff—and it whispers of old-school class. 14/16 size, which makes it versatile enough to fit a lot of folks. It’s the kind of jacket that makes you want to lean against a brick wall with a cigarette and pretend you’re in some forgotten French New Wave film.

SK Company Blazer – Medium Pink

And finally—brace yourself—the SK Company medium pink blazer. Yes, pink. Not screaming neon Barbie pink. No, this is the kind of pink that’s soft but confident, a shade that says, “I’m not trying too hard, I just happen to look amazing.” Honestly, I feel like the 90s were waiting for this blazer to resurface. It’s playful without being ridiculous. Wear it and you’re automatically the most interesting person in the room. No effort required.

Why I’m Excited

These pieces aren’t just clothes—they’re snapshots of time. Each one carries a little personality from the era it came out of. The wool coat feels like late-70s ambition. The Novo sweater is pure 80s joy. The Hunting Horn jacket is timeless cool. And the pink blazer? Straight-up 90s charm.

I’ll be listing them soon, so keep your eyes peeled. The thing with finds like these is once they’re gone, they’re gone. And I promise you—each one is the kind of piece that turns heads and sparks conversations.

So yeah, maybe I’m a little too excited. But that’s kind of the whole point of Vintage Rat. If I’m geeking out, you know it’s worth a look
