At Vintage Rat, every piece is one-of-a-kind — but I get it, sometimes a fit just doesn’t vibe the way you hoped. Here’s how returns and refunds work:


Return Window

  • You have 15 days from the date your order arrives to request a return.

  • To be eligible, items must be in the same condition you received them: unwashed, unworn (outside of trying them on), and with any original tags still attached if applicable.


Refunds

  • All refunds are issued as store credit.

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, you’ll be issued a credit code you can use toward any future purchase.

  • Store credit never expires — so you can take your time and wait for the perfect piece.


How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at [your email here] within 15 days of delivery with your order number.

  2. You’ll receive return instructions, including where to send the item back.

  3. Once your return is approved and inspected, we’ll send you your store credit details.


What Can’t Be Returned

  • Items marked as Final Sale.

  • Accessories (hats, belts, jewelry, etc.) for hygiene reasons.

  • Any item that shows signs of wear beyond trying it on.


Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

Mistakes happen (though I try hard to prevent them). If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, email me within 3 days of delivery. I’ll make it right.

Vintage Rat is built on unique finds. Because pieces are one-of-a-kind, I can’t always replace an item with the exact same thing. That’s why returns are processed as store credit — so you still get the chance to snag something special from the shop.
